Hi! I'm María Castellanos, founder of Nōma Studio®, a registered design brand in Ecuador that specializes in residential and commercial interiors, blending aesthetics, functionality, and innovation.

I hold degrees in both Architecture and Civil Engineering, complemented with knowledge in Interior Design and specialization in 3D Modeling. This unique academic foundation allows me to merge the creative vision of design with the technical rigor of engineering, ensuring that every project is not only visually striking but also functional, efficient, and structurally precise.

With over 10 years of professional experience, I have led diverse projects across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that shares my passion for transforming spaces into meaningful experiences. At Nōma Studio®, we see design as a powerful tool to shape the way people live, work, and connect with their environments.

My essence as a designer is rooted in curiosity, attention to detail, and human-centered design. I believe every space should tell a story, reflecting the identity and lifestyle of its users while balancing timeless aesthetics with innovative solutions. From concept to completion, I strive to create environments that inspire, elevate, and stand the test of time.

For me, design is not only about interiors — it’s about crafting atmospheres that improve lives and leave a lasting impact.
